PORTRAIT SHOOT
Allow approximately 60-90 minutes for your portrait, this does vary and depends on the nature of your portrait shoot. We reserve Saturday appointments for family shoots when it’s difficult for dad to get time away from work, of course these days book out quite a bit in advance. WHEN you book your portrait in is also very important. Mornings are best for young children as is after sleep and meal times as this is when they’re at their happiest. If it’s a specific look or location you want, planning your shoot around a specific time of day so the light is perfect, will often get you the best results.
SHOOT FEES
Shoot fees are $140 all the time. Shoot fees are inclusive of the photographer’s time as well as your design appointment.
PURCHASING APPOINTMENT
After we have photographed we then make another appointment for a couple of days later. This is the purchasing appointment. Together with your partner, Karen will help select your favourites and advise how to best present in your home. This purchasing appointment can take an hour or more and It can prove to be rather tedious for the little ones. We therefore suggest it to be a childfree appointment. As only one main purchasing appointment is possible per client, we invite the decision makers of the family to help you in your purchasing decisions. Orders are then placed at this time only. If you are unable to make your purchases without a spouse or partner, then please be sure to make a time that will be suitable for you both. If a second appointment is required then a studio fee will be charged. All purchasing appointments must be done within 14 days of the portrait session, unless otherwise organised. Special offers such as reduced session fee or complimentary enlargements are only valid if orders are placed within the 14 days of the portrait session. Images will be archived after a three month time frame and will incur a fee to be viewed outside this time.
INVESTMENT
We have many products available such as an 8x12 portrait which starts at $155. My pricelist is structured so the more that is purchased the better value your prints become, so numerous collection packages are available giving you in some cases a 30% saving. Please call the studio to book in a pre-consultation where we can go through all the pricing and plan your session if you so desire.
