I’m Karen, Melbourne Family Photographer. I am a passionate newborn photographer, baby whisperer, Mum, wife, cat lover and serial romantic. As a Mum of two ‘growing-like-weeds’ kids, I understand how important it is to capture the milestones of a growing family. Welcoming a new baby into the family is the most special time in your life. Once your baby arrives, life seems to pass in a blur of late nights and nappies. Before you even realise, your tiny newborn isn’t so tiny anymore and in the blink of eye they are starting high school. As a Melbourne Family Photographer I’m passionate about capturing your family’s unique story.

I offer Maternity, Newborn, Cake Smash, Baby and Family sessions in the comfort of my home-based custom built studio in Rowville, just 27 kilometres south east of Melbourne. Its contemporary, comfortable and homey atmosphere ensures each photography session is a relaxed and enjoyable experience. I also have a huge range of gorgeous props and accessories for you to choose from.

Tiny, innocent, precious babies *squeal* who doesn’t love them? Hand me a cute chubba bubba and a camera and I’m happy! I’m truly passionate about helping families kapture special moments in time and create lasting, beautiful artwork they’ll forever cherish.
As a Melbourne Family Photographer, I LOVE what I do. Since 2004, I’ve photographed over 900 new Melbourne babies – that’s a lot of chubby adorableness! I’ve always been artistic; I took painting and drawing classes professionally for 15 years. But it’s photography that gives me the perfect creative output; I like to talk A LOT and family photography lets me do that. In fact, clients often tell me how much they’ve learned while having their photos taken. And they usually ask if I can pop round at four in the morning to help settle their restless baby. I really wish I could!
I like to share my passion and knowledge, so I’m also a photography teacher and mentor. And I’m always taking training courses to hone my craft, stay on point with the safety side of things and keep up to date with tech from the likes of Apple, Nikon and Adobe Photoshop.
When I’m not helping families make memories, I’m playing with my own two kids who sure know how to keep me on my toes!
